mrmaxx Posted May 3, 2004 Share Posted May 3, 2004 Can someone PLEASE reduce the waiting period for "flood control" I keep getting these darned error messages "Flood control is enabled on this board, please wait 30 seconds before replying or posting a new topic " and I, for one, find it highly annoying that we can't post /start more than 2 messages per minute. That may not sound like a lot, but when you're trying to reply to a message, it can be annoying. I've gotten that message twice today and I've only been here on this forum for 5 minutes or so... Can we please try to knock it down to at least a 15 second "flood control"? If this is not the correct forum, I would appreciate it being moved to the appropriate forum by the mods. WB8TYW Posted May 4, 2004 Share Posted May 4, 2004 The flood control seems to kick in by mistake if you click on refresh after making a post. If you click on a link to take you back to the forum, then the flood control does not kick in.
