Spam Free

I hope I am not speaking too soon but this is the first day that I am spam and virus free in a long time. Even my hotmail and yahoo accounts are spam free.

Looks like SpamCop has worked some kind of miracle on the lowlife spammers!

Feels good, doesn't it? Knowing that your email isn't polluted with a bunch of cruft that you have to wade through...

Before I began hammering the spammers, it felt each morning like I had to wade neck deep through a septic tank to get to any real work. The spam wasted my time, raised my blood pressure, and generally made each day a bad start.

Now, I look forward to checking my email, knowing that only legitimate messages are waiting for me.

Plus, if I do get a spam now and then, I've got the free time (now that I'm not wasting 30-45 minutes a day dealing with spam) to really hammer that scumbag into the ground.

Good job, dra007, and congratulations.

There is one good thing about the spam I get (sent to the spamcop held messages folder).

I usually know within about 30 minutes when my forwarding provider is having problems. Several times in the last few weeks I have noticed no new junk and checked their servers to find the SMTP server down.

So spammers DO have a purpose :)

Thank you Hills, once again a spam free day, except an attempt to de-fraud, they don't give up:

I suspect the fraud was caught in time, it points to a broken url. It sure is satisfying to see these criminal lowlives go down though. Its funny to see a January date in the header...
