Wazoo
not sure what to tell you .. all the Tracking URL's I looked at all had the "if sent today" comments with addresses listed .... Had some spam at one of the web-site accounts I handle .. submitted that through the paste-it-in-here web-form and all worked as expected.
turetzsr
Hello, fredibau, ...It is going to be difficult to guide you without more information. I am probably not the right person to try to help, as I know very little about how the SpamCop.net system works or how SMTP works. I am hoping that I am asking you the right questions that will allow more knowledgeable people to give you useful answers. How are you submitting spam reports -- with the web form or using e-mail?If web: What browser type and version? Are you using the "one-part" form (the default) or have you selected the "outlook/eudora workaround form"? [*]If e-mail: Are you using the SpamCop e-mail service? If so, via POP or IMAP? What e-mail client software do you use and what version (release level)?
Miss Betsy
It doesn't say why it can't send report, though. I don't understand what the computers tell each other either, but it looks as though it might not expect a reply and so should go to dev/null. In fact one of the examples says that. Perhaps her submission just never got beyond that part of code for some reason? Have you asked the deputies, Wazoo? Miss Betsy

Perhaps her submission just never got beyond that part of code for some reason? Can't recall ever seeing this complaint before, so had put on the "waiting hat" to see if others were going to call in .. as I said, I reported some stuff from the web-page and that worked just fine, there were other complaints throughout the day of folks talking about the delay in e-mail submittals, but even with the delay, it appeared to be working ..?? Have you asked the deputies, Wazoo? Yep, note and details sent ... only thing I don't have is the original poster's SpamCop account name, but am hoping that the Deputies might be able to pull that from the Tracking URL and report - ID ..?? Wazoo
Have you asked the deputies, Wazoo? Care to sing the song of the bastard child once again? Ok, we have an answer that duplicates the "no other reports" about this situation. Just can't say that I'm overly thrilled about the extension of the Mail-Host solution to the rest of Forums. But, I'm not getting paid for this either. > Please just advise people to write to us if they have problems that need our > attention so that we can answer them personally. Wazoo
Thanks for the feedback, glad it's working. Best "we" can guess is that you managed to hit some server hiccup, there are no other complaints, and I couldn't duplicate the problem ..
