bjameson@onetel.net.uk
Spamcop cannot parse my reports, sent from Outlook 97. Have downloaded patch and increased mtuMax, but makes no difference. If, therefore, my reports are useless, please tell me. BJ
Wazoo
onetel.net.uk,Jun 5 2004, 09:02 AM]Spamcop cannot parse my reports, sent from Outlook 97. Have downloaded patch and increased mtuMax This suggests that you went to http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/121.html if we're talking about the "patch" mentioned there, but have no idea why / where the mtuMax comes into play with Outlook. but makes no difference. If, therefore, my reports are useless, please tell me. You're going to have to explain the "cannot parse" problem. Is it possible that the data at http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/122.html may have some help? Again, your word "sent" doesn't explain what you meant there either ... Wazoo
For some reason, the original poster has been PM'ing me. I'm re-posting his/her last back into the Topic he/she started (and advising poster of this action) .... anyone else still using Outlook 97 that might be able to offer up a clue? Each time I report spam, I get the message that there is an error in my submission [the original spam message preceded by a copy of the headers from the "Options" box in the original spam message, "sent" from Outlook 97]. SpamCop "can't parse head". I've tried to solve this problem and failed. Thus, it appears none of my submissions of spam can be parsed. Does this mean my reports are useless to SpamCop? turetzsr
...Although I'm using Outlook 2000 rather than Outlook 97, there shouldn't be much difference. Here's what I do: My reply in thread "Reporting spam". ...Good luck!
