ortonmc
SpamCop is currently failing to resolve any spamvertised website. But I can resolve them just fine from here. Is SpamCop having some sort of connectivity problem to the DNS servers, or is it something else?
amanuensis
I have been getting the same thing recently, and just now, with two "unresolved" spamvertized sites, the parser crashed - with the folowing error: "Fatal error parsing spam: Connect failed in s_whois: Interrupted system call 62.181.52.2[at]whois.ripe.net Try again later?? After several retries, I have given up. I have also posted this on the NG. There is another, maybe unrelated problem, with no connectivity between the mail server and the parser/reporter. The usual "cannot log into IMAP server" stuff. Hooston, we have problems

Wazoo
from this side and level of view, one might make the assumption that there was a link between this problem and the "can't login to webmail" issue ... kind of looks like it tilted more towards Julian/IronPort side of the thing ... but, perhaps it's all back up and running now ..??
