Cannot resolve http//spamvertised-site.com

SpamCop is currently failing to resolve any spamvertised website. But I can resolve them just fine from here. Is SpamCop having some sort of connectivity problem to the DNS servers, or is it something else?

I have been getting the same thing recently, and just now, with two "unresolved" spamvertized sites, the parser crashed - with the folowing error:

"Fatal error parsing spam: Connect failed in s_whois: Interrupted system

call 62.181.52.2[at]whois.ripe.net Try again later??

After several retries, I have given up.

I have also posted this on the NG.

There is another, maybe unrelated problem, with no connectivity between the mail server and the parser/reporter. The usual "cannot log into IMAP server" stuff.

Hooston, we have problems

It seems to be fixed now.

from this side and level of view, one might make the assumption that there was a link between this problem and the "can't login to webmail" issue ... kind of looks like it tilted more towards Julian/IronPort side of the thing ... but, perhaps it's all back up and running now ..??
