"No body provided, check format of submission"

Hi all:

From time to time I'll receive a piece of spam that has no "body." The email will have a subject line like: "AD0BE, XP PR0, 0FFICE XP, C0REL SER1ES SOFTWARES AT SUPER L0W plain " but if you open the message the body of the message is blank.

Submitting this spam to SpamCop - via "Forward as Attachment" - results in the error message "No body provided, check format of submission." As a result, the spam can't be reported to the proper folks.

Shouldn't this sort of spam be reportable?

Hi, Tom!

...If you do a Search (see link at top right of most any Forum screen and be sure to click the "> All Forums" choice in the "Search Where" list) on "no body" and you'll find many hits, including the latest at thread 'Difference between "no body" and "body" ' and thread 'NO message body Spams, spam message in Header only'.
