caribet
I read home NTLWorld e-mail at work, and NTL seem to have added new hosts, on NTL.COM I tried to add one fo the new hosts by returning to the mailhost menu and triggering a test e-mail to the home account. I picked it up and put it into the form but got errors. confirmation headers were Return-Path: <service[at]admin.spamcop.net> Received: from aamta01-winn.mailhost.ntl.com ([212.250.162.8]) by mta08-winn.mailhost.ntl.com with ESMTP id <20041119083323.JEOF8585.mta08-winn.mailhost.ntl.com[at]aamta01-winn.mailhost.ntl.com> for <__________[at]ntlworld.com>; Fri, 19 Nov 2004 08:33:23 +0000 Received: from spamcop.net ([64.74.133.244]) by aamta01-winn.mailhost.ntl.com with SMTP id <20041119083323.YQRX17601.aamta01-winn.mailhost.ntl.com[at]spamcop.net> for <__________[at]ntlworld.com>; Fri, 19 Nov 2004 08:33:23 +0000 X-SpamCop-Conf: SAqO9DCvjZTIZ0gm which is what I was expecting - the MX for ntlworld is now 212.250.162.8, which has reverse DNS of mailhost.ntl.com I went through this process without problem when the mailhost system was new, and confirmed the ntlworld.com address paths... Can someone guide me please?
turetzsr
...Something similar happened to me (IIUC). I just deleted my mailhosts entry and started over and that fixed the problem. ...Or is that what you already did (I didn't see the word "delete" in your post)?
