Something wrong with "Forward to held mail"

Hi,

it hapens I forward from the inbox to the held email box and.... the forwarded message disappears. In other words, no held email at all.

It's impossible spammers are all on holydays.... se I think there must be something wrong with the system.

Someone can fix this?

How EXACTLY are you forwarding to your held mail folder?

I assume you are talking about the webmail application here. If you are using some other application, you will need to better describe what you are doing.

There is a Forward link which will forward a copy of the message to another address. If you resend it to your spamcop address, the system will see it as a loop and delete it. I don't know how you expect it to end up in your held mail folder if it was not caught the first time.

You can use the Forward link to forward the message to your submit.X address for reporting, but it will not show up in the held mail folder usng that method either.

You can Move | Copy messages to the Held Mail folder and they should appear there. I use this method myself to transfer false positives back to my inbox and have not had a problem with it.

Please let us know which method you use so we can be of greater help.

I use webmail and its "move to held mail" feature.

The strangest thing is that they are several days I don't have any held email in the held mail folder.

No held mail at all!!!! And NO, I didn't change the system to "Become a "mole" - Don't even send reports"

Therefore, I suppose there is something wrong (other than my bad English) in the system.

Does Webmail show anything in your Held Mail Folder at that point in time (or when the symptom recurs)? Thanks!

the held mail folder is complitely empty. No held mail at all.

The system notify me there are held emails but when I go there, the folder is empty.

You have lots of held mail. Try logging into webmail at http://webmail.spamcop.net then change to the Held Mail folder using the selector in the upper right corner.

Thank You Jeff, now I'm able to see the held mail folder. About 178 to report to each ISP.

Anyway.... there is some bug to fix. If I logon by using "open folder - held mail" all works fine BUT if I logon by using the Held Mail button on the webmail interface, I can't see any held messages.

Please, let me spend a couple of words about this community.... quick responses, friendship, tecnical skills and good will are common basis for the staff members and users.

I'm sorry Jeff to bother you wih my problem but... I can't report any message as spam.

As I'm forced to use the webmail interface in order to open the held mail folder, when I'm there... I can't report held mails as spam.

Why can't you forward the spam in your Held Mail to your submit address, and then process it using mailsc?

Also, since no one else has admitted to the problem, please email "support at spamcop.net' so that an Admin can look into your problem further.
