Djrobluv
We are running a Domino Server and we use the DNS Blacklist function of this server. We have BL.SPAMCOP.NET as one of the DNS Blacklist filters, this morning I noticed that 90% of the emails coming in was being rejected because the sending IP Address was found in BL.Spamcop.net database. Why is this happening? Everything was working fine yesterday. The only quick fix was to remove bl.spamcop.net from the dns blacklist filters. Can anyone help me out here. Here is one of the ip addresses 216.148.227.
Wazoo
At the time of your posting, 216.148.227.89 not listed in bl.spamcop.net ... so why you'd see a rejection is not known. On the other hand, not sure why you'd be surprised at seeing e-mail rejected with the inclusion of the SpamCopDNSBL inserted as a blocking item. If used in this way (as compared to use as a Tagging item as suggested or as part of a weighting scale type set-up) it is already identified as being aggressive.
