Tedr
I am new to spam reporting and SpamCop. Fed up with spam (and currently on enforced sick leave having been in hospital) I purchased spam Inspector and via that got a SpamCop account. However, I get 2 sorts of messages when I report spam : 1. "SpamCop encountered errors while saving spam for processing: SpamCop could not find your spam message in this email" (even though I have forwarded the complete email) and 2. "SpamCop has accepted 1 email for processing". However, this then goes on to say that there is insufficient information - even tho' all the header information that MS Outlook 2000 provides has been supplied. It would appear that I am being asked to supply more information that I have no idea how to find. Can anyone please help to enlighten me?

Start with an innocuous or test message (not spam) sent to your account which you access via Outlook 2000. Pretending that message was spam, use spam Inspector to submit it to SpamCop for parsing. Post the results here (either the #1 message or the #2 message, the parse results, and the "View full message" results). Thanks!

turetzsr
Hi, Tedr! ...Have you checked: Microsoft Products and Outlook 98 and 2000?
Jeff G.
I thought spam Inspector could do the same job on Outlook 2000 headers that SpamSource and spam Deputy can; it appears that I was mistaken (or spam Inspector was misused). Please try using SpamSource or spam Deputy per How do I get my email program to reveal the full, unmodified email? : Microsoft products : Outlook 98 and 2000. Also, please don't post your submit address any more. Thanks!
Tedr
JeffG (AndTuretzr(?)), many thanks for your help. I now appear to be able to report spam correctly (at least I'm getting the sort of responses that lead me to believe I'm now doing it right!). Once again thanks
