IPv6 Unique Local or Private addresses

Recommended Posts

I am requesting that the IPv6 "private addresses" be treated the same as IPv4 private IPs.  IPv4 are listed under RFC1918 (10/8, 192.168/16, 172.16/12) and IPv6 are listed under RFC4193 (FC00::/7, FEC0::/10).  In IPv6, the name used for private addresses is "Site-Local addresses" or "Unique Local addresses".  Unique Local addresses meant for a direct replacement for RFC1918 and should be included in that same function.
