My email has been hacked and it is so old that I can not log in to change the password

Recommended Posts

Hey, xxxxx

What happened here?
About a few months ago, I gained access to your devices. I started tracking your online activity.
I hacked into your computer and accessed your email: xxxxx. I would like to point out that I was able to log into your email easily.

Your password: auburn66

What's next?
After a week, I had already installed a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) [Learn more about this] in all your devices.
In fact, it was not difficult at all (since you were clicking on malicious links from incoming emails).
It is very simple. This Trojan gives me access to all your devices (e.g. your microphone, webcam, keyboard and etc.)

[1] I uploaded all your information, data, photos, web browsing history to my servers.
[2] I have access to all your messengers, social networks, emails, chat history and contact list.
[3] My virus constantly updates its signature (it is driver-based), so it remains invisible to antivirus programs.

What should I worry?
In gathering information about you, I discovered that you are a big fan of adult websites 😰
You really enjoy visiting porn sites, watching videos and pleasuring yourself.
Well, I managed to record some of your dirty scenes that show you masturbating and reaching orgasm.

What are you going to do?
I can make a few clicks and all your videos will be sent to your friends, colleagues and relatives.
I also don't mind putting them out in the public domain. I think you really don't want that, given the specifics of the videos you like to watch (you know exactly what I mean). It would lead to a real disaster for you.

Can we solve this problem?
Let's solve this problem this way:

You transfer me $400 (USD) (In Bitcoin equivalent at the exchange rate at the time of transfer), and as soon as the transfer is received, I will immediately delete all these records, your data from my servers. After that we will forget about each other. I also promise to deactivate and remove all malware from your devices.

It's a fair deal, and the price is pretty low, considering that I've been recording all your actions and monitoring traffic for a long time.
In case you don't know how to buy and transfer Bitcoin, check out the section `How can I buy Bitcoin? There are some useful links there.

Bitcoin Wallet:1DWQiXWruyZGAaKEpkMzJDGnMf1nm6nsXM

How can I buy Bitcoin?

What you should avoid:
[1] Do not try to email me (I sent this email from your mailbox. By the way, it allows you to make sure that I am really telling the truth).
[2] Do not try to contact the police or other security services. Also, forget about telling your friends about it. If I discover this (as you can see, it's not difficult, because I control all of your systems), your video will be immediately posted to the public.
[3] Do not try to find me - it makes absolutely no sense. All cryptocurrency transactions are anonymous.
[4] Do not try to reinstall the OS on your devices or reset it. It is also pointless because all video, data and contacts are already stored on my remote servers.

What you don't have to worry about:

[1] That I will not be able to receive your money transfer.
Don't worry, I will immediately see the transaction as soon as you send it, because I constantly monitor all your actions (my Trojan has a remote control function, something like TeamViewer).

[2] That I will share your videos anyway after you send the funds.
Believe me, I don't see the point in making trouble for you. It's just business. If I really wanted to send your videos, I would have done it already.

This is a variant of a spam I receive on occasion.

All the changes i needed to make in your post to protect you, and not spread links the spammer may have included, are reasons it is better to report the spam and not post it here where other can see it. Yes spammers do monitor SpamCop.net.

okay can you give me some pointers on how i can stop them? I can not log in to change my password and they are sending Dirty emails to others using my email address. people are replying to my email asking me to stop sending them. They are also trying to set up a fraudulent Instagram account using this email.

Do they actually have your password? If you look at the Received headers of the emails closely, they will usually be coming from a different server that is not your actual server. You should verify if the emails are actually coming from your account or if they are forged and fake. Knowing where they are coming from should tell you where you will need to change your password at.

If it is the CES mail password, I would suggest you start here:

Not good that you recognise you password as yours
You not answered if it's it's a SpamCop account?
If not ring your ISP to send a reset password to your/their email address

I had internet with the company . The company has changed names 2 different times and they tell me without an account number they can’t help me . Any other ideas ?

Have you contacted your ISP? tech support where your email services is hosted?

they can help you close/block the email address. They can also help you recover/change the password on the account.

you would think that having brought to their attention that no one is paying for the email account, they would stop "providing the services".

I would think they would want to clear out the old account to reduce their bandwidth, particularly sense it is all spam from their domain/IP.

These people that have my password are send naked photos to people for clickbait using my email.

As you still receive these emails from a account you don't send from, report it as abuse, go further report obscenity's as child porn spam to abuse,
as you are unlikely  a pediatrician, you don't know and not qualified to judge if it's not!
I haven't been sent porn for years now so it works and should shut down spammers access to your account, but not email through it.
my boiler plate to add to abuse report. Keep the ">" and blank line below, at end of boiler plate, keeps the word wrapping intact!
Put boiler plate text at top of report, or if in a SpamCop report in the notify text box for abuse desk.

Easiest way is to open a SpamCop (SC) account it's free and simple to use.
https://www.spamcop.net/anonsignup.shtml
Learn how to get full headers and text body (text only )then just copy and past it into the SC text box and push submit after it's been parsed and YOU check it's probably correct. (not from someone you know they will get "browned" off)
BEFORE you submit collect the "SpanCop tracking url" at top of page save it/them in a text APP like notepad.
If you wish to report it yourself spam cop will tell you where to send it just by putting the received IP only into text box.
You will get the hang of it after a few reported spams, should be all you need for starters to put spammers out of business maybe jail.

I believe I know the how this works. I am sure you probably already checked for a webmail to be able to access it. I have a forwarder email address I setup in 1997 that soon after I was no longer able to login, now being stuck permanently as is. Normally I would try to find a webmail or an old link that might allow the password change. As others have suggested, sign up for the free reporting account and report every one. If you enable mailhosts, for both your email accounts, it should report the spammer's IP.

Don't enable mailhost for the rouge email account or SpamCop won't report it
