Global SMTP server - error

Recommended Posts

I am getting an error saying "The connection was intentionally closed by the server before the session was complete." The first box reads Global SMTP server, the next box, SpamCop Reporting, the the above message. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, oriannar,

...Exactly what did you do that caused this message? Were you navigating to a link (exactly what URL?) in a browser (what browser product? what version?) or is this a message returned to you when you sent an e-mail (did any other information come along with the message?)?

The first box reads Global SMTP server,

SMTP suggests that e-mail was in the mix, but ....????

the next box, SpamCop Reporting, the the above message

Not seen on the (logged in) www.spamcop.net page ... is this one of the modes of logging into one of the SpamCop.net e-mail account screens? Secondly .. perhaps waiting for more data, but .. move to the E-Mail account Forum section? Again, the SMTP things seems more likely to be an e-mail (account) issue rather than strictly a Reporting problem ..???

For testing, a "traceroute" might shed some light on things, but ...????
