abyrne
I received an email at my non-profit from a lawyer in Luxemburg indicating that they want to give our non-profit organization a large selection of artwork (very fancy sounding) There' anyone gotten a spam message like that before? curiosity is killing this cat... Telarin
Your best bet is to do a google for a chunk of the message body text. If it appears from your google results that others have received the same message, then it is most likely some kind of scam. If not, I still would proceed with extreme caution. If they suddenly ask you to pay for any kind of "Fee" or "Tax" before you get the paintings, slam on the breaks, as it is a typical advance fee fraud type scam. spcarob
Definately a scam. We got a similar message and I've found many variations roaming around. Eventually they will ask for help with shipping and customs fees if you pursue them. Sorry, Rob
