Telarin
You understand something wrong. I would start by reading the What is spamcop section of the FAQ.
Farelf
... Spamcop.Net is not working! ... Maybe I do something wrong or I understand something wrong ??Your reporting feeds the SpamCop Blocklist. To see any effect from the blocklist you would have to be using it. Your reports by themselves are not going to add a spam source to the BL (other reporters or spamtraps need to be reporting the same spam source and this often happens) and the spammers keep sending from different sources. You have a lot of reading to do - see about personal use of the blocklist at http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/290.html
turetzsr
Spamcop.Net is not working! I report a spam.......I get the same spam again next day! I report it again........And I get the same spam next day again? Maybe I do something wrong or I understand something wrong ?? ...It may not really be the same spam. A lot of spam is generated by programs that are sold to and run by many different people. In internet / e-mail terms, if you get the same spam content from 5 different sources, you've got 5 different spams. SpamCop reporting deals only with one source at a time. And, as Farelf points out, above, in order to block spam from the source you are reporting, you must use the SpamCop blacklist to do anything with e-mail coming from the spam sources that are on the list. To further complicate things, your reporting a spam does not automatically put the source of the spam on the list -- there's a formula (see SpamCop FAQ article labeled "What is on the list?"). dra007
Try dowmloading the free program at spampal.com, it is an add on to OE and other e-mail programs that uses SCBL as well as other spam lists to tag and move spam to a spam folder. It also has build in whitelist and black list capabilities. That way you will benefit directly from reporting to spamcop.
