Telarin Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I just logged in to view my report history (to get a list of IPs that don't want reports so I can add them to my personal BL), and everything reported priort to 9:39 AM Spamcop time is gone. There is no "next page" link on the page at all. Anyone else have there report history disappear like this? Quote
turetzsr Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 ...Mine are all there back to October 2 9:40:24 -0400. Quote
Jeff G. Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 (edited) The feature you mentioned, although titled "Report History", is more properly called the "View recent reports" feature, which can be accessed via the "View recent reports" Link on the "Past Reports" Tab, or directly via http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory, http://members.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory, or http://mailsc.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory (depending on which site you're using). My account is experiencing the same symptom, in that only the first page shows up, and there is no link available for viewing subsequent pages (of older Reports). More specifically, there is absolutely nothing but a newline between the last 'No reports filed</div>' and '<div id="footer">'. I have just emailed a SpamCop Admin via service[at]admin.spamcop.net to look into this issue for us. Edited October 9, 2006 by Jeff G. Quote

The old function is still there, only the direct link was removed so far. Frank Quote
Jeff G. Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 That's a fine workaround, but the part of the page that is supposed to actually DISPLAY the link to http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory&offset=10 or http://members.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=sho...y&offset=10 or http://mailsc.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=show...y&offset=10 is still missing, and therefore broken. And no, there is no link to http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory&offset=20 on http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory&offset=10 either (for example). Quote
SpamCopAdmin Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Argh! Looks like something is broken. I submitted a bug report and asked to have it fixed. I'll post here when it is. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - Quote
dbiel Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 And no, there is no link to http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory&offset=20 on http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showhistory&offset=10 either (for example). Not sure if I know what you are saying or not, but will report my experience: http://mailsc.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=show...amp;offset=1540 works for me and displays reports Submitted: Thursday, July 13, 2006 Anything larger than offset=1540 yeilds "Nothing found" Note: offset between 10 and 1540 in increments of 10 all work and display the corresponding reports Quote
StevenUnderwood Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Not sure if I know what you are saying or not, What he is saying is that on none of those pages is the link for "Older reports", that it is not just the first page without the "Older reports" link. Quote
dbiel Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 To restate the problem for clarity (at least my clarity) The "Past Reports" link works fine with the exception that it only allows for displaying the first page. The link to go the the next oldest page of past reports has disappeared. The reports are still there and can be accessed, BUT must be done using the complete url as follows: http://mailsc.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=show...amp;offset=10 (for page 2) http://mailsc.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=show...amp;offset=20 (for page 3) etc up to http://mailsc.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=show...amp;offset=1540 (for page 154) anything beyond offset=1540 results in "Nothing Found" At least that is my experince. So we have a work around, but it is a real pain. Don has submitted a Bug Report to get the problem fixed. Quote
Farelf Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 ... etc up to http://mailsc.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=show...amp;offset=1540 (for page 154) anything beyond offset=1540 results in "Nothing Found" At least that is my experince. ... I believe it was StevenUnderwood who once alerted me to this being 90 days, rather than a specific number of reports/pages. Which certainly holds true for the date of posting your result initially, in comparison to the earliest date found. What a relief, all of us in the office can put our shoes and socks back on now. Ex_Brit Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 The problem of only showing the first page is still there...any idea how long to the fix? Quote
Telarin Posted November 16, 2006 Author Posted November 16, 2006 The "Older Reports" link on the report history page seems to have been restored and as far as I can tell is working as it should. Quote
Ex_Brit Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 So it seems, but I don't know about anyone else, it takes around 3 minutes for that page to load. Methinks Ironport needs to invest in better/more servers. Even "report immediately and trash" a page load of spam on mailsc.spamcop.net is hit and miss these days. I often have to refresh the page to see if they actually went as it sometimes refuses to clear on its own. Quote
Telarin Posted November 16, 2006 Author Posted November 16, 2006 Yeah, it seems to take a while to load the first page, but once it is loaded going back and forth from page to page is much faster. Perhaps its the delay in loading those pages of the database from disk to memory. They're handling a lot of data, so not sure what they could do about that other than moving to a cluster capable database system like MS SQL or Oracle and offloading those particular functions to read only nodes on the cluster. Ex_Brit Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Well it's not as if I need to refer to it too often, so I guess I can live with it! Quote
