Appsheet spam, anyone else?

Recommended Posts

Appsheet is being abused for spam purposes.  I noticed my reports were going to: google-cloud-compliance@google.com

But they don't actually do anything. Today I discovered https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/AppSheet-Q-A/How-can-I-opt-out-of-receiving-AppSheet-emails/m-p/798183 Where others are point blank blocking appsheet because it's so bad. So I did a test. Abuse@appsheet.com isn't bouncing back. Support@ says they don't handle and spam@ doesn't work. I don't have time to fill in their "forms" to report 500 spams. And I seriously doubt anyone else does either. The fact they have a noreply@appsheet makes it a great choice for spammers.  I'm about to set up the spam for auto report.

I'm hoping we can put a lid on this new spamhaven before we are all bombed. Anyone else having issues with appsheet?

Abused? I guess it might be legitimate. I thought it was a spam place and on August 19th, I blocked anything relating to appsheet. I only get three or four attempts from appsheet per day. Edited by gnarlymarley

Why are you not reporting the spam to SC and get the IP blocked and the right reporting address? I have never heard of spam@ to report but do a whois to get the address. info admin or office will usually work to report because they send the report to the right address. If they are serial spammers they probably will not unsub or act on reports even tho that is against the law. Report to the host registrar cert, not the spammers.
