dra007 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 anyone knows why quick reporting in the heldmail folder fails repeatedly? Sometimes I have to select an quick report several times before sucess.. Doesn't quite make sense to have such old dates, I am reporting everything I get, several times daily...

That it does not leave the VER screen and the messages are not reported?
dra007 Posted December 29, 2006 Author Posted December 29, 2006 I mean getting error: ID has changed.....and having to report same e-mails over and over, often I am more succesful with failing quick reported e-mails reporting the full way, but that of cousrse is not practical at the rate of spam I presently get, > 2000 per day. I haven't seen this type of error in webmail, but I don't go that route often, I quick report by clicking the link to heldmail reporting from my e-mail client. I have been getting failures on a regular basis for weeks now, I just don't see a pattern or simple explanation, I can wait between re-reporting only to have it go through without a glitch, so it's not something related to the actual spam e-mail but rather to a glitch on the reporting website....

I don't use VER for quick reporting, olny full submitting, and have not seen that error. Must be that combination... or your account

If I remember correctly, and as I get older my forgettery is getting more efficient, I resolved it by using the webmail interface to delete everything in my held mail folder just once. Then everything seemed to get back on track. Of course, a single batch of spam went unreported but that seemed a small price to pay :-) Andrew
