They are smtp.gmail.com and popgate.cesmail.net (for my Yahoo account). Update: I sent a test to each, and both arrived, though I apparently have forwarding enabled on the gmail account as there was no POP pickup of it. Yahoo did get POPped, however, that is using the popgate service. What are the domains you are trying to POP so we can try to see where the issue may be? The error message was there from about 2pm to 4.30pm UK time but now it's gone and seems to be collecting email again! Panic over! Thanks for your reply.
