R J
I am currently using the following setup: Incoming mail is sent to myalias[at]mydomain.com which gets forwarded to myusername[at]spamcop.net, and then filtered mail is forwarded to mynospam[at]mydomain.com (of course not real addresses, but you should get the idea) This has been working great, but recently some emails are returned with the following error: The following message to <mynospam[at]mydomain.com> was undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 500-"Error mail not terminated with '.'" One of the attachments has: Final-Recipient: rfc822;mynospam[at]mydomain.com Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 (permanent failure) Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 500-"Error mail not terminated with '.'" (delivery attempts: 0) Reporting-MTA: dns; c60.cesmail.net This happend twice today that I know of, and both times the person just resent and it went through the second time with no problems. Any idea what the problem is?
Wazoo
No really .. nothing offered to work with, so nothing available to even think about trying to research. I can't even go upstream with anything, as you registered here with a Hotmail address. Issue has not come up before. The 'failed' e-mail construct not defined ... size, type, content, attachments, etc.? The ISP(s) involved may or may not help, but even the lack of that data stops any 'work' from this side of the screen. Software involved could even be part of the mix. If you're going to try to contact JT directly, a lot more specific information is going to be required.
