The future of spam

Net-security articles may be of interest - The Future of spam. Consideration of Maslow's hierarchy of needs indicates some unexploited levels. That's where web 2.0 comes in - potential spammer access to every level, (virtual) apex to base. And the tools to help them - they seem to be with us already, like Zunker - Tool used to control botnets ... (user-friendly and with comprehensive facilities to bring smart exploitation to the wider user-base). The future is upon us. Pity it turned out to be so like Fred Pohl and Cyril Kornbluth's Gravy Planet. But that's just me.

Me, too. It reminds me of what someone once told me about the porn industry. That is, they are always early adopters of new technology (VCR recording, DVD etc.)

Spammers also appear to be early adopters of new technology.
