oz42 Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Hi, I cannot delete a mailhost - or, better to say: its old IP address. This is what I did: - deleted last mailhost - re-entered mailhost (I have only one MX host for that domain) Now I still see 3 entries: domain.org host.domain.org host in the 1st drop down box. "Relaying IPs" contains 2 IP addresses. One that is in production, one that is offline for several months now. Yes, my MX RR is okay, it points to an A record that contains only the current IP address. So there is only one host and only one IP. How can I delete *all* entries and re-enter the valid one?
StevenUnderwood Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 So there is only one host and only one IP. How can I delete *all* entries and re-enter the valid one? You can't, and likely don't really want or need to. As long as the current information is included, there is no reason to change the entry. The host, domain.org, host.domain.org is normal because spamcop will check against all those things to try and match entries. If you still want the entry changed, send an email to deputies[at]admin.spamcop.net explaining why they need to be changed as they have that access.
