Dave_L
Lately some of my received email messages have their subjects prefixed with "{Disarmed}". And today I got one prefixed with "{spam?}". My email gets redirected through several accounts (Sneakemail, Spamcop and a web hosting servce), so I'm not sure which service is adding these prefixes. Or maybe it's a new feature of Thunderbird. Has anyone else seen these prefixes?
rconner
Has anyone else seen these prefixes?Tagging the subject lines of suspected spam mail with "spam:" or suchlike is commonly done by many ISP spam filters, where the idea is to pass the buck to the recipient rather than detaining or rejecting the mail. Never heard of "Disarmed" and don't know what it would mean (maybe that viruses were removed, or web-bugs munged out?). -- rick
