calspace
I have gotten several copies of this, and I don't think it is a spam, but I think it's related to spam reports involving ebay.com addresses. I'd like to report to the programmers that they may need to adjust their reporting address: Auto-Submitted: auto-replied Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset = "us-ascii" Date: Thu, 29 May 2008 09:50:43 -0700 [09:50:43 PDT] Delivered-To: spamcop-net-cssc[at]spamcop.net DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; s=dksm28; d=ebay.com; c=nofws; q=dns; h=received:precedence:auto-submitted:date:to:subject:from: reply-to:mime-version:content-type: content-transfer-encoding:x-mailer:message-id; b=sFUrIlT0csvVZ5kBgl8kkncy4Kb+k06uyiMhWj8quJq6xtbkXtv4s66+wArwVuirH /1qONbMwJDLBrZEayp0rQ== From: eBay Customer Support <suspension[at]ebay.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-ID: <auto-000340750698[at]smf-klm-01.corp.ebay.com> Precedence: bulk Received: (qmail 21111 invoked from network); 29 May 2008 16:50:46 -0000 from unknown (192.168.1.108) by blade4.cesmail.net with QMQP; 29 May 2008 16:50:46 -0000 from mout.perfora.net (74.208.4.195) by mx71.cesmail.net with SMTP; 29 May 2008 16:50:46 -0000 from mxpool01.ebay.com (mxpool14.ebay.com [66.135.197.20]) by mx.perfora.net (node=mxus3) with ESMTP (Nemesis) id 0MKofY-1K1lKv3BWO-0006pr for lauren[at]teachspace.org; Thu, 29 May 2008 12:50:46 -0400 from smf-klm-01.corp.ebay.com ([10.108.116.100]) by mxpool01.ebay.com (8.13.8/8.13.8) with ESMTP id m4TGohHt020779; Thu, 29 May 2008 09:50:44 -0700 (GMT) from [216.33.244.32] (HELO rhv-kas-06.corp.ebay.com) by smf-klm-01.corp.ebay.com (CommuniGate Pro SMTP 4.1.5) with SMTP id 340750698; Thu, 29 May 2008 09:50:44 -0700 Received-SPF: pass (mxus3: domain of ebay.com designates 66.135.197.20 as permitted sender) client-ip=66.135.197.20; envelope-from=suspension[at]ebay.com; helo=mxpool01.ebay.com; Reply-To: Return-Path: <srs0=ptgt=wm=ebay.com=suspension[at]srs.perfora.net> Subject: Your message to suspension[at]ebay.com will not be reviewed (KMM292441343V79805L0KM) To: Lauren Eve Pomerantz <lauren[at]teachspace.org> X-Mailer: KANA Response 7.0.1.142.13 X-spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.2.4 (2008-01-01) on blade4 X-spam-Level: X-spam-Status: hits=-0.0 tests=SPF_HELO_PASS version=3.2.4 X-SpamCop-Checked: 74.208.4.195 66.135.197.20 216.33.244.32 Thank you for contacting eBay's Trust and Safety Team. Your email to suspension[at]ebay.com will not be reviewed. We would like to provide you with additional information to help you contact us about the following topics through other contact channels that will ensure receipt of your inquiry and promote our quick reply: 1. Report a spoof or fake email 2. Report an eBay policy violation 3. Appeal an account suspension 1. REPORT A SPOOF OR FAKE EMAIL If you received an email about a possible eBay suspension, first check "My Messages." Any messages sent to you regarding your account will always appear in My Messages as well. To review messages sent to you by eBay, click on the "My eBay" link at the top of any eBay page, and then click on the "My Messages" link found on the left side of the page. To report an email or website that is impersonating eBay, please forward the entire message to spoof[at]ebay.com. Please do not change the subject line or modify the original, suspicious email in any way. Forwarding the message will allow us to review the message headers and any other information that may be attached to the email. The spoof[at]ebay.com email address is reserved for handling reports of attempts to impersonate eBay. In order to investigate these reports in a timely manner, we can only accept forwarded messages at this address. 2. REPORT AN EBAY VIOLATION To ensure that reports of potential violations of eBay policy are investigated as quickly as possible, please contact us by following these steps: 1. Click "Help" at the top of most eBay pages. 2. Click the "Contact Us" link on the left side of the page. 3. Select the options that best match your question or concern. 4. Enter your message in the space provided. 3. APPEAL AN ACCOUNT SUSPENSION If you have been suspended from using eBay, please visit "My Messages" in My eBay to reference the suspension Alert you received. It will detail the reason for the account suspension. If you have any additional questions, or would like to appeal the suspension, please either reply to the suspension Alert in "My Messages," or contact eBay through the following help page: http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/RegisterVerifyPSU.html ** IMPORTANT Please do not respond to this email, as your reply will not be reviewed. We appreciate your assistance in this matter and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Sincerely, eBay Trust and Safety Team The problem is that I don't see an address even in this message about where reports of people spamming using [at]ebay.com or advertising eBay merchandise can be sent. That doesn't look like a response to a SC report to me - the only way those can be received by you is through SC (and then forwarded to you) and a report number would be quoted. And most reporters (like me) have robot replies blocked - it's the default setting. See http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/246.html This looks more like a response to a manual report/action of some sort.
