xzr1tv
I have just noticed (it may have been going on for a while, or always) that smtp.cesmail.net, fails a 'Reverse DNS' test. Some of the sites I send to, add a very high spam score for this and/or reject the mail. Is this normal? Or can the records be updated to 'reverse DNS' works? Thanks!! In my testing, SpamCop does not use smtp.cesmail.net for outgoing messages. The test I just did: Received: from source ([216.154.195.49]) (using TLSv1) by exprod6mx261.postini.com ([64.18.5.10]) with SMTP; Thu, 17 Jul 2008 10:39:27 CDT and > 216.154.195.49 Server: vnsc-pri.sys.gtei.net Address: 4.2.2.1 Name: c60.cesmail.net Address: 216.154.195.49 > c60.cesmail.net Server: vnsc-pri.sys.gtei.net Address: 4.2.2.1 Non-authoritative answer: Name: c60.cesmail.net Address: 216.154.195.49 Where are you seeing a connection coming from smtp.cesmail.net? BTW: I got the same outgoing server using both local SMTP to smtp.cesmail.net and sending from webmail.
