I fear that you may be asking folk here to gaze rather too much into their crystal balls. I doubt there is sufficient information to provide a very intelligent response. It would help if you could tell us some of the following: 1. Do you have a SpamCop Email account? (You have posted you question in a forum that supports users of that service so that suggests you do have such an account but your error message suggests otherwise). 2. What makes you think this is a SpamCop related issue? I see that there is mention of 'excessive spam' but no mention of SpamCop. 3. What is the SMTP server's IP address? You will at least need to provide an IP address of the sender outgoing SMTP mail server before anyone here can offer much help. I suspect that this is an issue not related to SpamCop Email or block list and should better be addressed in The Lounge. Take a look in the FAQ for more information on the SCBL and how to frame questions that can be answered... But you might ask your own ISP why they might have rejected your contact's Email since that's what appears to have happened. Andrew
Wazoo
I agree with Andrew. There appears to be no connection to the use and care of a SpamCop.net e-mail account. Moving to the Lounge area with this post.
SpamCopAdmin
someone tried to email me and got the following errorYour service provider rejected your friend's email because it is coming from a network that is sending spam. Your friend needs to contact his ISP and ask them to fix the problem. He should show them the error notice he got. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - .
