dra007
This report is quite riveting; worth reading material/study on a growing underground industry? (misnomer, what do they produce besides crime and grief to the victims?): http://enum.symantec.com/mktginfo/enterpri...25717.en-us.pdf PS. Can someone fix that url I just dont know why it wouldnt open from here. Thanks. It works if you manually replace enum with (e v a l; no spaces) in the url above, (to get pdf of the report); for some reason the board software defaults it back to enum even if i type it as (e v a l), is that a glitch? Not a glitch. Just another instance of my heavy-handed 'fix' to protect this Forum (and its users) against hacking. You are the first (non-hacker) to stumble across this particular word issue, which dates back a couple of years now. "e_v_a_l" is a bit of 'programming' code, and as this isn't generally a 'programming' Forum, it hadn't been an issue. Any source code presented here, such as some of the scripting for AppleMail users, had been analyzed by myself to check for this type of 'problem' .... as there are a few other words that also fall into this situation. Farelf
http://www.symantec.com/about/news/resourc..._economy_report Not sure if this is the same or not... Yep, looks to be. Direct link to the PDF is http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/abou...Econ_Report.pdf The workaround when running into a 'banned word' issue within a link is to use tinyurl, snipurl, or similar (just Google). Many people baulk at hitting a redirection link (yes, even when posted by one such as I whose middle name is 'Trustworthy') and in this instance we are fortunate in having dbiel's alternate source for the document.
