The primary mode of support here is peer-to-peer, meaning users helping other users. (please remember this at all times!)
Another try:
This forum is composed of people who have used spamcop and those who are learning about anti-spam efforts.

As posted by Mike Easter over in the spamcop.net newsgroup;
www.spamcop.com no longer redirects to Vww.spamcop.com but Vww still works. spamcop.Com no longer 'fronts' for Spam Inspector of Giant Software, ie the adlinks are gone, bare there. Presumably the engine under the parser still belongs to SI, ie Giant, ie Microsoft. Microsoft has acquired^1 Giant for its antispyware product, and apparently MS will be the new supporter^0 of the other giant products, including Spam Inspector. Does this mean that *MS* will now pretend to be 'our' spamcop [instead of spamcop.com]? Embrace, extend, extinguish^2? ^0 http://www.giantcompany.com/ "Microsoft will continue to provide support for the Spam Inspector, Popup Inspector, and Giant AntiSpyware products. ^1 http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2...2-16GIANTPR.asp Microsoft Acquires Anti-Spyware Leader GIANT Company [...] In addition, key personnel from GIANT Company will be joining Microsoft's security efforts. ^2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embrace_and_extend "The phrase "embrace, extend and extinguish" should be reserved for the particular strategy outlined above" -- Mike Easter kibitzer, not SC admin |
