Melrose
I received a suspicious email I wanted to report. I have been to Spamcop for a while, but I do occasionally report something. I went to log-in, but it said my User Name could not be found. However, when I put my email address in it comes up as already registered. I have memory problems and my card file which I kept all my User Id/Names & Passwords got lost while we were remodeling my computer/office. So basically, I can't access the reporting feature until I can find my User Name associated with Spamcop. If it was just my password, I can reset it, but not without my correct User Name. I feel like I am going around in circles. Can anyone point me to where I can retrieve my User Name to the email address associated with Spamcop? From what I understand, I can now re-register. So, where do I go for help?
turetzsr
Hi, Melrose, ...Sorry to hear of your problem. I'd suggest you send a brief e-mail to the SpamCop Deputies at e-mail address deputies[at]admin.spamcop.net. If you know it, include your SpamCop Reporting (not your SpamCop Forum) user ID and/ or your secret 16-character alphanumeric report key. Do not post that information here, it is not secure! ...Good luck!
SpamCopAdmin
Here's all the login information. Maybe it will help. Your username is the whole email address you registered for an account with us. If you can't remember your password, just use the "Forgot your password? (click here)" link when login fails, and SpamCop will send you a new one. Or use this link to get a new password: http://www.spamcop.net/denied.shtml Passwords use numbers, and both UPPER-case and lower-case letters, are cAse sENsiTive, and may contain lookalike digits such as, "one" and "ell" or "Oh" and "zero." I recommend that you copy/paste your password into our login form. After you log in, you can use the "Preferences" link at the top of the page to change your password.
