Trouble reporting, "Headers not found"

Hello,

I am trying to report spam via email, and I'm getting "headers not found" error, but even the quoted email in the error message actually contains headers:

Hello SpamCop user,

Sorry, but SpamCop has encountered errors:

Headers not found.

It appears you did not provide all email headers. Please consult this FAQ
for more information on getting full headers from your software, then try
again.

<skip actual spam body>

Note: email addresses and domain names masked by me in the paste; also, the subject header is actually folded with leading spaces (not tabs as the Received headers) in the continuation lines, which somehow does not show in code quoting here in the forum, the subject header is NOT corrupted.

As you can see, there are Received, Subject, From and Message-id headers present in the email, but still it is rejected as having no headers. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

In this case, the report was sent using Mac OS X Mail app's "Forward as attachment", but I had the same result when trying to report the same spam using metamail's metasend utility in Linux, sending the spam as a message/rfc822 attachment. I'm actually sending several spams attached to a single mail to Spamcop, and I'm getting separate error responses for each mail, each correctly quoting the different spams' headers, so apparently Spamcop is getting the attachments correctly from the multipart message. Pasting the same spam in the report form on the Spamcop site works correctly, no complaint about missing headers there.
