the_wanderer Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 i've been getting 10 of these a day and the previous ones spamcop found the correct headers and i reported it but i don't get why it can't find the headers here? is there something hidden in the white space? =====================original spam==================================== Authentication-Results: hotmail.com; sender-id=temperror (sender IP is 190.29.30.41) header.from=vbnfwluboq[at]anyqav.net; dkim=none header.d=anyqav.net; x-hmca=none X-Message-Status: n:0:n X-SID-PRA: Discount Center <vbnfwluboq[at]anyqav.net> X-DKIM-Result: None X-AUTH-Result: NONE X-Message-Delivery: Vj0xLjE7dXM9MDtsPTA7YT0wO0Q9MjtTQ0w9Ng== Moderator Edit: <big snip> ============== results from spamcop============================= Authentication-Results: hotmail.com; sender-id=temperror (sender IP is 190.29.30.41) header.from=vbnfwluboq[at]anyqav.net; dkim=none header.d=anyqav.net; x-hmca=none View entire message Parsing header: This header is incomplete. Please supply the full headers of the spam you're trying to report. No source IP address found, cannot proceed. Add/edit your mailhost configuration Finding full email headers Submitting spam via email (may work better) Example: What spam headers should look like No tracking information found in header: Authentication-Results: hotmail.com; sender-id=temperror (sender IP is 190.29.30.41) header.from=vbnfwluboq[at]anyqav.net; dkim=none header.d=anyqav.net; x-hmca=none Probably not full headers - see FAQ: Sat, 16 Jul 2011 11:02:10 -0700 oops, i didn't see the other pinned item about a tracking url, admin please delete post. tracking url http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z5069723788zd...e5744edc6f4136z
SpamCopAdmin Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 The problem is all that white space. SpamCop is looking for the full headers in one contiguous block of text, followed by a blank line, which signals the end of the headers, and then followed by the body text of the spam. The parse won't accept headers if there is no body text with them. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - service[at]admin.spamcop.net .
