jikuja Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Spamcop is blaming my ISP server to be source of spam and stops processing headers. Example here: www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z5591894464zd2ad7534dc304e7485447394fc343990z Why it is reporting "no from" for Received: by smtp-03.utu.fi? Any tips how to fix this? Any tips what to ask to ISP to do?

I want spamcop to be able to detect 109.201.8.186 as a source of spam and I want to use spamcop to mail report into 109.201.8.186 abuse address. Currently I can't because spamcop stops processing when it reads "Received: ... by smtp-03.utu.fi" How would password change and malware scan help to achieve that?

I know that the IP sending spam is your email sever I'm better than SpamCop the Bot and just told you someone that has a compromised account is sending email through your email server. Look at the headers it may be someone recieving email that does not want it Bit suspicious though when it is senT FROM a Botnet through your email server
SpamCopAdmin Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 The source of the spam is 109.201.8.186. The spam did not originate from utu.fi. This is the problem with the parse: smtp-03.utu.fi looks like a dynamic host, untrusted as relay We are working to get that fixed. The fix should be published soon. All you can do for now is delete the spam and move on. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .

May I suggest adding smtp-04.utu.fi to be trusted too. http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z5593651494z1...6a91834baf2f71z
