SPAM report by e-mail doesn't work

Hello,

normally I report spam through the web interface, but today I tried

the e-mail interface.

I've forwarded 5 spam mails as one mail with 5 attachments to my

submit.1234567890abcde[at]spam.spamcop.net address about 7 hours

ago, but nothing happened.

I haven't got any reply to my report.

Is that correct or am I doing something wrong?

There have been instances of slow response and sometimes no response.

The number one error of first time submitters is not submitting as 'forward as attachment' There are different ways to do this depending on what email software you are using. It is relatively easy to find in the FAQ's

There is also a pinned FAQ about other problems with email submission.

Check out the FAQ's and then if you are still having problems, check back here with details like what kind of email (OE, Outlook, Eudora, etc) and what you have tried. There is usually someone who has had the same problem and can tell you how to fix it.

...Have you taken a look at FAQ Entry: Emailed spam Submissions Disappearing? and/ or System slow - 2nd update (in the second one, you may have to go through a bunch of messages in that thread before finding the ones that relate to your problem)? :) <g>
