However, every time I reloaded the report after refreshing the cache, the IP that the link resolved to changed. Any explanations why this is happening? A legitimate use for this is to help share the load between multiple servers. A sneaky use for this could be to divert the attention of spam fighters away from the culprit. Often the web URL IP is a redirecting BOTNET They give redirection links to spam or malware Many CMS infections are due to the StealRat botnet!
