Bob D Posted October 18, 2016 Share Posted October 18, 2016 Started reporting spam to SpamCop (after laying out $15) so that I could be helpful and hoping the amount of spam I receive might decrease. After just one day of reporting, the amount of spam I receive has more than doubled!! Why would I want to continue reporting? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lisati Posted October 20, 2016 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Don't give up, an increase in the volume of spam can sometimes mean that you're on the right track. Spamcop itself doesn't stop the spam in its tracks, that task is usually left to the people who receive the reports sent out in response to spam that has been submitted and those who choose to use the SCBL as part of their email filtering process.
