dinkypen
Help! It appears that somebody is spoofing my email address and using it for sending out vast quantities of spam. I have today received over 100 bounced messages purporting to have been sent from my domain. Goodness knows how many have actually got through. How can I stop this and ensure that I do not get blacklisted for spamming when the emails are not actually being sent from my domain. Thanks for any constructive help and advice
Merlyn
No one blacklists by email address as email addresses are almost alway forged. This happens a lot and should cause you no problems. It could be an infected machine that found your email addy in someones contact/email list. Have any of the bounces contained the original message?
