rconner Posted June 23, 2007 Share Posted June 23, 2007 I'm getting a bunch of unusual spams just now like this one (tracking link). They are mailed from South America and Eastern Europe. The website mentioned seems to be an online newspaper with no obvious spammy features, and there is an article there critical of HSBC bank. If I had to guess, this would be some sort of attempt to short HSBC stock, or else just generally make bad publicity for them.
