PeterJ
I missed that "bayes_00" test the first time I noticed this post. The tests that SpamAssassin uses are listed here: SA Tests If you are interested, just do a quick search of the above page for "bayes_00" and then it will be apparent as to why the score was negative. Perhaps JT could elaborate on this with regards to our implementation of SA. -PeterJ P.S. Also of relevance, below quote is taken from SA's documentation on sa-learn Autolearning is enabled by default If you don't have a corpus of mail saved to learn, you can let SpamAssassin automatically learn the mail that you receive. If you are autolearning from scratch, the amount of mail you receive will determine how long until the BAYES_* rules are activated.
Enrico_C
The tests that SpamAssassin uses are listed here: SA Tests Which score is used in Spamcop's SA? (local, net, with bayes, with bayes+net) ? I guess it's "with bayes+net" In my example, it should work this way: > hits=-3.3 tests=BAYES_00,MIME_SUSPECT_NAME, > RCVD_IN_BL_SPAMCOP_NET BAYES_00 gives -4.9 MIME_SUSPECT_NAME gives 0.1 RCVD_IN_BL_SPAMCOP_NET gives 1.
Enrico_C
But now I don't understand this other one How can it give 11.2? X-spam-Status: hits=11.2 tests=BAYES_30,MIME_SUSPECT_NAME, RCVD_IN_BL_SPAMCOP_NET version=2.63 By the way, it was a legitimate mail
