Wazoo Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 Yes, you're absolutely correct. Problem boils down to "where did it happen?" If you modify the spam to allow parsing, you're setting yourself up for violation of the "thou shalt not modify the spam to coerce the SpamCop parser to find things that it would not have found on its own" .... on the other hand, you could "fix" the headers, run it through the parser, and then send your own manually generated complaints out ... But, the issue you probably really want answered is; did the spammer do this or is there an issue with one of the servers in this chain?
