spiralocean Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 I get some really strange emails, with no from? I didn't think this was possible? It's interesting that the Received: from unknown (192.168.1.101) is my local IP address on my internal network? Does this mean someone is sending email from my computer? Any help would be appreciated. dra007 Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 I get a lot of those, some even break in the middle of the message/subject and have no content... They are making you a good offer BTW, sex ...booze...is it free? There was a post earlier about using free or shareware to download programs that detect spyware and trojans.... I use spybot myself...
spiralocean Posted April 19, 2004 Author Posted April 19, 2004 Not to mention ETC! That's the best part, I mean, I can't even imagine what ETC might be! But whatever it is it's got to be good. I just realized I posted the link on the site... which probably has my information embedded in the link! I hope no one clicked on it! I'll change that right now. I guess my biggest concern is that someone is sending spam from my email account without me knowing it. Any thoughts would be helpful.
