salamandir Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 i am increasingly finding that, when i submit spam for reporting, i get this response: ----- Unable to process message. IPv6 addresses are not supported. No source IP address found, cannot proceed. Add/edit your mailhost configuration Finding full email headers Submitting spam via email (may work better) Example: What spam headers should look like Nothing to do. ----- i remember they were, at one time, but i also remember having a huge email disaster and them suddenly deciding that IPv6 addresses were no longer supported... i wouldn't worry about it, except for the fact that IPv6 addresses have gone from being one or two in 6 months, to being several a week, and my guess is that once the spammers realise that they can avoid being reported by using IPv6, they're going to switch over in droves... does anybody know when IPv6 addresses are going to be supported again?
turetzsr Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 ...Please see the Pinned SpamCop Forum Topic "IPv6 Routing Support." It may be convenient for you to skip to the end and read backwards. ...Follow-ups to that topic, please.
