....or has there has been a sudden increase of spam? In my email, despite regular malware and virus scans, I have seen a dramatic increase in spam, everything from the normal sex stuff, cheap medicines, online casinos and even solar panels. 14 spam emails so far today! Hang on, make that 15, just got another one, Weight pills this time, that's the 5th Weight Pills Shop email today" <Grrrr!>

They do seem to come in waves, don't they? But, it stands to reason if we are successful in getting servers blocked, spammers just move on to other servers. I was sorta hoping they would compile a list of those who report them and take us off their list. Latest for me is a couple of hundred spams over a two week period through burst.net servers. I doubt we are ever stopping their emails for more than the time it takes them to open a new hosting account.

Yeah, I wish I knew an answer to the problem. Since I had posted my first comment, my 15 has risen to 25 spam posts, the most prolific being "Weight Loss Pills". I keep reporting, although I sometimes get disheartened with the increase in spam.

I sometimes get disheartened too, particularly when my ISP seems to be saying there's nothing they can do to block spam. (They use Yahoo, need I say more?) I'll keep up with the reporting.
