Grand-Dragon
well I been pretty good with getting all spam put into norton anti spam folder however lately I been getting e-mails I can't block because their using my e-mail adress as a spoof. I contacted my web host and they confirmed it is spoofing. My e-mail is secure but they said and I quote: "If a site has configured the mail server to allow connections to the SMTP port, anyone can connect to the SMTP port of a site and (in accordance with that protocol) issue commands that will send email that appears to be from the address of the individual's choice; this can be a valid email address or a fictitious address that is correctly formatted" and that there was nothing they can do about this. So what can I do? Kinda worried about submitting it to spamcop cuz I don't want my own adress blocked
Spambo
The return address can easily be forged. SpamCop is aware of that and so it doesn't pay attention to the spammer's lies.
