Mail delivery failure

I've always forwarded my POP mail to my spamcop address and back to another address on my POP server to pick up. The last week or so, mail forwared to my spamcop address has been disappearing, even when the sender is someone I've regularly corresponded with before. I was forced to cancel the forwarding and now I'm again weeding through 200 spams a day instead of the usual 30 or so. Can this be corrected?
