abacab Posted July 11, 2004 Share Posted July 11, 2004 A client of ours had a compromised cgi earlier this evening, and it looks like our server was spewing spam for 45 minutes or so until we caught it. Mathematical formula defines listing; total traffic "seen", spam reported, time, spamtrap hits, minimum of a half-hour, maximum of 48 hours after spew stops .... what else?
