mshalperin
After reading the website info, FAQ's, and some posts here, I'm still unclear about the optimal reporting mode. I would appreciate it if anyone could answer the following: 1. Is it true that mole reports are given little or no value for blacklisting? 2. Exactly how are "aggregate counts" used by Spamcop and ISP's? 3. Are internal reports generated when sites refuse munging used differently than mole reports? 4. How significant is the risk of "retaliation" from spammers? What form can this take? Thanks
Wazoo
1. Is it true that mole reports are given little or no value for blacklisting? See my last post in Announcements. http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2030 2. Exactly how are "aggregate counts" used by Spamcop and ISP's? See my last post in Announcements. 3. Are internal reports generated when sites refuse munging used differently than mole reports? As the results, reports, and content is so different, these actions you're asking to be compared are not related at all. So yes, they are different. 4. How significant is the risk of "retaliation" from spammers? What form can this take? Depends on your spammer.
