patakyr
I have a Domino 6.5.1 server and I am having problems using the DNS blacklist. If I turn on the log and tag option it says that everything is blacklisted. If I go to your website and type in the IP address it says that it is not in the blacklist. I use verizon DSL and I use a dynamic DNS provider (TZO) that seems to work well with my linksys router. Could one of these services be the problem? For example... Here is some of the traffic I am seeing on my server. I don't think any of the following servers are in your blacklist if I do a lookup but the filter seems to think it is for some reason. What do you think I am doing wrong? 09/15/2004 10:03:41 PM SMTP Server: Remote host 66.163.170.148 (web21529.mail.yahoo.com) found in DNS blacklist at bl.spamcop.net 09/15/2004 10:03:41 PM SMTP Server: Message from 66.163.170.148 (web21529.mail.yahoo.com) rejected by DNS blacklist filter 09/15/2004 10:03:41 PM SMTP Server: web21529.mail.yahoo.com (66.163.170.148) connected 09/15/2004 10:03:42 PM SMTP Server: web21529.mail.yahoo.com (66.163.170.148) disconnected. 0 message received 09/15/2004 10:13:21 PM SMTP Server: Remote host 211.245.113.7 () found in DNS blacklist at bl.spamcop.net 09/15/2004 10:13:27 PM SMTP Server: Message from 211.245.113.7 () rejected by DNS blacklist filter 09/15/2004 10:13:27 PM SMTP Server: 211.245.113.7 connected 09/15/2004 10:13:31 PM SMTP Server: 211.245.113.7 disconnected. 0 message received 09/15/2004 10:13:43 PM SMTP Server: Remote host 216.235.248.73 (saf.tzo.com) found in DNS blacklist at bl.spamcop.net 09/15/2004 10:13:43 PM SMTP Server: Message from 216.235.248.73 (saf.tzo.com) rejected by DNS blacklist filter 09/15/2004 10:13:43 PM SMTP Server: saf.tzo.com (216.235.248.73) connected 09/15/2004 10:13:43 PM SMTP Server: saf.tzo.com (216.235.248.73) disconnected. 0 message received
Wazoo
I have a Domino 6.5.1 server and I am having problems using the DNS blacklist. If I turn on the log and tag option it says that everything is blacklisted One could point out that as all actions taking place "here" are based on what entries you've placed into the configuration file and a simple typo could be where the problem starts .... it's hard to make a guess without seeing your "data line" ... Not said was whether the sample log you provided is complete or is this just the "problem" entries within that time-spam? One of the three listed IPs is in fact currently listed, giving rise to the oft-repeated guidance tha these "evidence" pages have not been real-time in ages, and once again mentioning that the SpamCopDNSbl is very dynamic and 99.9% automatic ... so an IP could be listed at the time of your server check, but 10 minutes later, that IP could well have de-listed. If there is some suspicion about a TZO dynamic DNS proble (having to assume that you are using this as you are running an "unauthorized" (?) e-mail server on a onsumer DSL account) , take it out of the picture .... you might also want to take a look at a possible similar situation described at http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=

Wazoo
I have the same problem. Have u found any solution for this issue? Considering that the origonal poster hasn't returned/answered in over three years, what makes you think that he/she will answer your query? Of course, even worse, you appear not to have read my response to the original poster and made no attempt at filling on the blanks on your own query.
