Trash Folder Doesn't Empty

Under Maintenance Operations, I have the Trash

Folder set to be purged after one day, and for

maintenance operations to be performed upon

login, but the trash file never gets purged.

Is there some other setting I missed that must

be selected?

Hi Mark!

Those are the settings I have and this works just fine. Have you tried manually purging the trash folder?

If you don't have an Empty Trash button you can add this in Options, Deleting & Moving Messages

If the Trash folder doesn't manually empty then that might indicate a Trash folder permissions problem.

Or, if you have a large quantity of trash it could just be that the time to purge is rather long and waiting patiently for the first time will, eventually, get you up to date after which the purging will be speedier.
