charcoalgray99
I am getting the occasional spam which does not include spamcop tag-only headers, so they are unable to be filtered. All my incoming mail is relayed through spamcop. These messages always include the "X-AntiAbuse" headers as quoted below. Is this a bug or setting somewhere? I would like to filter these messages as well. Merlyn
These are added by the sending server. Many servers place different x-headers in their mail. Sometimes spammers use them also.
StevenUnderwood
Next and probably the original question is why isn't spamcop processing these messages and appending a tag? I assume that spamcop still adds all its x-spam* headers when tagging is used. This message was "Delivered-To: spamcop-net-xxxxxxxxxxx[at]spamcop.net" yet there are no spamcop headers inserted. Merlyn
Yes, I see; maybe a bug?
charcoalgray99
If it's a bug, is there anything else I can do to help? Forward a copy of the email to someone?
StevenUnderwood
All you should need to send would be the headers, but those are already posted here. Also, I am debating myself (I do that often) whether this should go to the Deputies or JT since he runs the email side of things. Any other opinions? Perhaps PM jefft and alert him to this thread?
