jenming
When I go to the "Preferences" area : http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=prefmenu and I click on the "Estimate Usage" link: http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=estimate I get nothing but Userid not found This is not an essential thing to me, but I thought I would bring this issue up... Does it have anything to do with logging in via cookies vs. HTTP authentication? thanks, jenming
Wazoo
just out of curiosity, I'm a bit confused at not seeing your URLs starting out with either "members" or "mailsc" ....
jenming
Well, i've been logging in with cookies, as has been recommended, so I no longer have to go to http://members.spamcop.net to do my spamcop business.... or do I? is the cookie authentication method not fully integrated with all the features? I know that I can set some of my reporting preferences still....
Wazoo
I don't have the answer to the integration question, but that was just the first thing that caught my attention. I was hoping to hear that you'd gone to the 'members' page and read the results in your next posting .. if that's all it was or if there's something screwy with the whole preferences set-up. jenming
Well, doing the http authentication by going to http://members.spamcop.net seemed to work.... it's interesting the cookie auth doesn't get you in to all the preferences pages. This shows to me that the authorization routines are different for different pages... this seems like a strange choice... or perhaps it's just something that's still being worked on... dhanna
Funny, I do not have the estimate usage option anywhere.
Wazoo
Did you sign up for a "reporting only" account? This account is based on "fuel" .. which is used up by the parsing and handling of spam.
